Treatment methods for high steam pressure in steam boilers
1, Reasons for high steam pressure in steam boilers
Excessive steam pressure in steam boilers may be caused by the following reasons:
1. Inappropriate opening of the steam nozzle leads to poor steam discharge;
2. Blockage of the steam nozzle prevents smooth steam discharge;
3. Safety valve failure, unable to discharge overpressure steam normally;
4. Control system malfunction resulting in excessive steam production and inability to effectively control it;
5. The boiler water level is too low, and the heating tubes do not receive effective water cooling (water loss protection), resulting in overheating bubbles and excessive pressure in the heating tubes.
2, Treatment methods for high steam pressure in steam boilers
When the steam pressure of a steam boiler is too high, timely measures need to be taken, otherwise it may lead to serious accidents. The specific processing method is as follows:
1. Close the intake valve and steam valve in a timely manner, stop supplying fuel, and stop the operation of the steam boiler;
2. Close the main steam valve and auxiliary steam valve to ensure that the safety valve discharges overpressure steam normally;
3. Check if the safety valve is malfunctioning, and replace it promptly if it fails;
4. Check if the boiler water level is normal, and if there is an abnormal water level, add water promptly for treatment;
5. Clean the steam nozzle to ensure unobstructed flow.
