The function of boiler condenser
The boiler condenser is an important auxiliary equipment of the boiler, mainly used to condense the water vapor in the flue gas generated by the boiler into water, and recover the waste heat to improve the efficiency of the boiler. There are two common types of boiler condensers: air preheated and water-cooled. Here, we focus on the role of water-cooled boiler condensers.
The condenser of a water-cooled boiler is usually installed at the lower part of the boiler exhaust duct. During the operation of the boiler, the high-temperature flue gas discharged enters the condenser and is dissipated through copper pipes, transferring heat to the refrigerant entering the condenser, thereby condensing the water vapor in the flue gas into water. The smoke condensed into water will be discharged through the water tank below the condenser, becoming a reusable water resource.
The principle of boiler condenser
The principle of boiler condenser is to condense the water vapor in high-temperature flue gas into water, achieving the process of waste heat recovery. Because the gaseous energy of water vapor is much higher than the liquid energy of water, condensing water vapor into water can release a large amount of latent heat, thereby achieving waste heat recovery and improving boiler efficiency.
The working principle of a boiler condenser can be explained in the following aspects:
1. Water in the air will generate water vapor during the combustion of the boiler.
2. Water vapor will be discharged into the boiler exhaust duct along with the flue gas.
3. Condense water vapor into water through the refrigerant in the condenser.
4. The water condensed into water will flow into the sink below and be discharged, and the water in the sink will be recycled.
5. Due to the condensation of water vapor, a large amount of latent heat is released, and this waste heat is absorbed by the refrigerant to improve the efficiency of the boiler.
3, Summary
Boiler condenser is an important accessory equipment that can recover and utilize the latent heat of water vapor in boiler flue gas. Its main function is to condense the water vapor in the flue gas generated by the boiler into water, and recover the waste heat to improve the efficiency of the boiler. By understanding the function and principle of the boiler condenser, we can better understand the operating status of the boiler system and provide reference and support for the optimization of the boiler system.
