Conversion method of boiler heat unit

There are many types of heat load units for boilers, with the following four commonly used: kcal, ton evaporation (t), watt (w), and kilowatt (kw).

1. Kcal: Kcal, also known as kilocalorie, is equal to the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of 1 kilogram of water by 1 ℃.

2. Watt: Watt is the abbreviation for watt, which is the unit of power in the International System of Units. The definition of watt is 1 joule per second (1J/s), which is the rate at which energy is converted, used, or dissipated (measured in joules) per second. We usually use kilowatts as the unit. 1 watt=1 joule (1W=1J/S)

3. Ton: Refers to the ton used in engineering and also refers to the evaporation capacity of 1 ton, which is referred to in the boiler heat load. In engineering, it refers to the amount of heat required to generate 1 ton of steam within 1 hour;

10000 kcal/hour ≈ 0.0166 tons evaporation capacity 1 ton evaporation capacity ≈ 700 kW 1 kW ≈ 0.0014 tons evaporation capacity 1 ton evaporation capacity ≈ 0.7 MW

3 Determination of heating load for heating

Generally, the heating rate for residents is 60 kcal/square meter When it comes to newly-built economy housing, you can even get 45 kcal/square meter/ hour; Can 65-70 kcal/square meter be charged for office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, etc/hour

Each ton of boiler hot water can carry approximately 12000 to 15000 square meters (for civilian use) and approximately 10000 square meters( for industrial use)
